Cookie policy

This website does not use advertising cookies, behavioral tracking cookies or marketing pixels. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, which technologies may be involved when using this website, why the website is designed without a traditional cookie banner, and under what circumstances this approach would be reviewed.

Last updated: June 2026. This policy should be read together with the Privacy Policy and Legal Notice.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files that may be stored on a user's device when visiting a website. Similar technologies may include local storage, session storage, pixels, beacons, scripts, device identifiers, embedded third-party resources and server-side logs. Depending on their purpose, such technologies may be strictly necessary, analytical, preference-related, advertising-related or behavioral tracking technologies.

2. Wixet's approach

Wixet intentionally designs this website to avoid invasive tracking. The objective is to provide a professional website, measure broad usefulness and protect contact forms without creating advertising profiles or following visitors across the internet.

In plain terms: no advertising cookies, no behavioral tracking cookies, no remarketing pixels, no lead scoring scripts, no hidden analytics circus.

3. Why there is no cookie banner

Cookie banners are generally required where non-essential cookies or similar technologies requiring consent are used. This website is currently designed not to load advertising cookies, behavioral tracking cookies or marketing pixels. For that reason, a consent banner is not implemented at this stage.

If Wixet later introduces technologies that require prior consent, such as advertising networks, behavioral analytics, remarketing pixels, social tracking widgets or automatically loaded third-party embeds, this Cookie Policy will be updated and an appropriate consent mechanism will be implemented where required by applicable law.

4. Technologies currently contemplated

The website may involve the following categories of technologies:

  • Strictly necessary technical infrastructure: hosting, DNS, TLS, routing, security and delivery mechanisms required for the website to work.
  • Security and anti-abuse tools: Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form, used to prevent spam and automated abuse.
  • Aggregated analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics, if enabled, used to obtain general website usage statistics without tracking cookies.
  • Optional embedded media: YouTube videos, loaded only after the user chooses to play them.

5. Cloudflare Web Analytics

Wixet may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to obtain aggregated usage statistics, such as number of visits, page views and visited routes. This helps understand whether the website is useful without deploying Google Analytics, advertising cookies, behavioral tracking cookies or cross-site profiling mechanisms.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is intended to be privacy-friendly and does not rely on tracking cookies for the measurement approach used here. It is used for coarse, aggregated visibility rather than individual visitor monitoring.

6. Cloudflare Turnstile

Cloudflare Turnstile may be used in the contact form to distinguish legitimate submissions from spam or automated abuse. It is a security measure necessary to protect the integrity and availability of the contact channel.

Turnstile is not used by Wixet for advertising, behavioral profiling, remarketing or lead scoring. Its purpose is limited to form security and abuse prevention.

7. YouTube videos

Embedded videos are not loaded automatically when opening a page. The site first displays a placeholder. YouTube content is loaded only if the user clicks to play the video. Where possible, videos are loaded through YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain, youtube-nocookie.com.

Once the user chooses to load a video, YouTube/Google may process data according to its own policies. Wixet does not control Google's subsequent processing.

8. Technologies not used

Unless this policy is updated, Wixet does not use the following on this website:

  • Google Analytics.
  • Meta/Facebook Pixel.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag.
  • Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity or comparable behavioral recording tools.
  • Advertising cookies.
  • Behavioral tracking cookies.
  • Remarketing or retargeting pixels.
  • Automated marketing lead scoring trackers.
  • Third-party chat widgets that track visitors across pages without consent.

9. Browser controls

Users may configure their browser to block, delete or restrict cookies and similar storage mechanisms. The exact process depends on the browser and device. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may affect the correct operation of websites in general, although this website is designed to keep such dependencies minimal.

10. Future changes

Wixet may update this Cookie Policy if the website changes, if new technologies are introduced, if providers modify their behavior, or if applicable legal criteria evolve. If a future change requires consent, Wixet will implement a suitable consent mechanism before activating the relevant technology where required.
